I know a lot of bloggers are sensitive about their TBR list (To Be Read) but I honestly don’t think having a long list is a big deal.
Realistically, most of us will never have the chance to read every book we want to read. Unfortunately, no one gets paid to spend all their time reading so it’s just something we have to deal with.
My to read shelf on Goodreads isn’t actually that bad. The amount of books I want to read is probably a longer list than the one on my Goodreads account. Sometimes I forget to add books so personally I don’t think it’s that bad!
My TBR Shelf = 147 books
I went through the list to take a better look at it and I managed to remove a handful that had been miss-shelved. I only recently discovered that you can add more exclusive shelves to your account other than the original read, to read, and currently reading. o_o’ I’ve since added a dnf shelf (did not finish) too, because we all have those books right? There’s only 9 books there so far, hopefully it won’t increase too much this year!
How many books are on your to read shelf?
That seems manageable. It is true we won’t get to read every book we want to, but that number is definitely achievable in 2 years.

I like to think of my TBR list as a lifelong list so I’m not in any rush to read them all quite yet! Plus I don’t actually have the time ;_;
Mine are 111, counting the Not-Sure ones. I think we can make it…if we try to add books wisely for the next 2 or 3 years, that is ;).
